This position offers students who have completed their undergraduate degree in physics or astrophysics the opportunity to gain intensive, hands-on research experience in high-energy astrophysics while contributing to cutting-edge studies of accreting neutron stars. The appointee will join our Research Group and conduct a focused research project involving X-ray spectral and timing analysis using observations from leading space-based X-ray missions, including NuSTAR, NICER, Chandra, and XRISM.
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety diverse stakeholders including judges, judicial staff, court leadership and administration, representatives from community agencies and organizations, and the general public. Must have skill in applying a variety of interviewing techniques to effectively elicit pertinent information, evaluating relevant information from multiple sources, recognizing alternatives and reaching independent conclusions based on fact and probability.
