Reporting directly to the Global Director of Leisure Sales and indirectly to the Western area property General Managers, the Western Regional Director of Leisure Sales is responsible for moving market share from our competitors, uncovering new business opportunities, and positioning EOS Hospitality’s Western area properties within the leisure travel agent community. Understands the overall market competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and competitor positioning to shift market share and optimize business profitability.

Scope of this Position: Reporting directly to the Global Director of Leisure Sales and indirectly to the Western area property General Managers, the Western Regional Director of Leisure Sales is responsible for moving market share from our competitors, uncovering new business opportunities, and positioning EOS Hospitality’s Western area properties within the leisure travel agent community. Through effective relationship building and account management, they will deliver the highest levels of guest service and ensure ongoing client satisfaction. They will be creative, energetic, and knowledgeable professionals. This proven sales leader will be fundamental to the continuing success of EOS Hospitality and its unique portfolio of independent properties.General Responsibilities Include:<ul><li>Achieve the financial objectives of each property in their managed area for market segments actively being worked.</li><li>Works collaboratively with each property's sales team to ensure sales efforts are coordinated and not duplicated.</li><li>Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include but are not limited to sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, tradeshows etc.</li><li>Develop relationships within the travel community to strengthen and expand the customer base for sales opportunities.</li><li>Entertain clients and hotel guests on the property as directed by the Global Director of Leisure Sales.</li><li>Manages and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Participates in sales calls, phone solicitation/prospecting, and market analyses to acquire new business and/or close on business.</li><li>Executes and supports operational aspects of business booked (i.e generate proposal, writing contracts, and customer correspondence)</li><li>Identifies new business opportunities to achieve personal and sales organization goals.</li><li>Understands the overall market competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and competitor positioning to shift market share and optimize business profitability.</li><li>Establish themselves as subject matter experts; serve the customer by understanding their business, business issues, and concerns to offer better business solutions.</li><li>Supports the company’s service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.</li><li>Provides excellent customer service consistent with the daily service of the company.</li><li>Set a positive example for guests.</li><li>Interacts with travel counselors to obtain product quality and service level feedback.</li><li>Works collaboratively with the Sales and Marketing teams to promote initiatives.</li><li>Submit weekly activity reports.</li><li>Log activities, contacts, and communication in Delphi FDC.</li><li>Initiate and execute agreements on the company's behalf in alignment with each property's standards.</li><li>Initiate individual resumes to ensure a seamless guest experience by communicating key information to internal department stakeholders.</li></ul>Skills/Knowledge Required:<ul><li>Highly motivated individual who can work independently.</li><li>Ability to handle confidential information discretely and in the proper manner.</li><li>Self-starter and possess excellent presentation skills.</li><li>Proven track record of successful sales history</li></ul>Travel Requirements: This Sales Manager position has a requirement for business travel. Annual Salary:  $155,000 - $158,000 annually + Incentive

Overview:
  The Resort Activities leader will be responsible for arranging, executing, and supervising all indoor and outdoor guests’ activity games and functions, while providing privacy and safety. This includes Resort Activities, Group Events, and Kid’s Club.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Maintain complete knowledge of all recreation offerings and be able to clearly articulate to guests.</li><li>Facilitate activities including but not limited to guided hikes to the Point Vicente Lighthouse & Alta Vicente trails, lawn games, Wayfinding, Kids Club programs, etc.</li><li>Knowledgeable about local history, Terranea history, sustainability efforts of the resort, ecology and flora and fauna. </li><li>Complete reservations, notify vendors, and check in with guests accordingly.</li><li>Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, procedures, and standards.</li><li>Maintain complete knowledge of the correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.</li><li>Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.</li><li>Maintain positive guest relations at all times.</li><li>Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.</li><li>Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.</li><li>Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.</li><li>Set-up and close activity areas.</li><li>Work with Guest Services to ensure accurate reservations and booking process.</li><li>Maintain positive vendor relationships.</li><li>Execute group teambuilding and activities events.</li><li>Be an ambassador of all recreation programming.</li><li>Accurately charge activities and services to guest profiles through the resort’s database, ensuring proper billing and record keeping.</li><li>Set up, manage, and break down tables, games, and event materials for corporate functions, group retreats, and team building activities.</li><li>Professionally strike corporate and leisure large scale events in a timely manner</li><li>Provide on-site support during corporate retreats, conferences, and VIP experiences.</li><li>Maintain inventory of activity supplies and proactively communicate reordering needs to leadership.</li><li>Track guest attendance and activity participation to support program reporting and future planning.</li><li>Assist in the creation, innovation and testing of new activities based on guest interests, trends, or seasonal opportunities.</li><li>Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and Front Desk to ensure smooth delivery of recreation services.</li><li>Support resort wide initiatives and packages such as holiday décor setup, special events, and staff celebrations when needed.</li></ul>Additional Duties & Responsibilities:<ul><li>Flexibility with other aspects of the Resort Activities team upon request of supervisors.</li><li>Flexibility with other services not pertaining to guest services but dealing with the hotel.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
 <ul><li>Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal.</li><li>Provide legible communication.</li><li>Ability to:<ul><li>Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.</li><li>Communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively both orally and in writing.</li><li>Prioritize, organize, and exercise problem-solving skills.</li><li>Follow directions thoroughly.</li><li>Understand guest’s service needs.</li><li>Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.</li><li>Work with minimal supervision.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.</li><li>Lift and move up to 50 lbs.</li></ul></li></ul>Experience, Education, & Licensure:<ul><li>Possession of a high school diploma/GED.</li><li>2 years recreation, hospitality or special event experience.</li><li>Degree in recreation, hospitality, tourism or natural science preferred </li><li>Current First Aid & CPR certification.</li><li>Fluency in a second language, preferably Spanish.</li><li>Able to input and access information in the property management system/computers.</li><li>Previous guest relations training.</li></ul>CompensationBase Pay Start Rate $21.96/Hr
