Objective: Perform the duties of an Automatic Press Operator and assist with various production and documentation tasks, including enhancing production through continuous improvement and lean initiatives, and perform 5S duties in an exemplary manner according to the company quality policiesQualified candidates will possess the following Minimum Requirements:High School Diploma or GEDMinimum of nine months of experience setting up and operating automatic presses and troubleshooting diesAbility to prove mechanical inclination, computer literacy and general math knowledge through aptitude testingWillingness to attend off-site, job-related training classesAbility to multi-task and work in a fast paced environmentExcellent work record (e.g. Set up presses within all press categories, including preparing and adjusting straighteners; preparing, loading and adjusting feeders; aligning stock; assisting with transfer system set-up (adjusting finger positions, installing and homing rails, and setting pitch;) and preparing next set up (clean slugs and bolsters, and obtain fixtures).Prepare dies for installation, installing and removing dies in the press.
