Under the supervision of a site administrator with direction from the teacher, program director or designee, the Paraprofessional II assists with activities, such as individualized and group instruction of students, preparation of instructional materials, and supervision of students in specialized programs. Any paraprofessional II applicant who has not passed the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST), or who does not possess a valid teaching credential, must arrange with the Human Resources Department to take the District's basic skills test.
