Enforce pool policies/regulations including, but not limited to, ensuring proper and appropriate attire is worn by individuals served, students, and staff using the pools and that all are adhering to proper poolside behavior (e.g., no horseplay, no running on deck, etc.) to ensure pool safety; provide initial and regular orientations for students and staff regarding such policies, rules, and regulations in order to proactively ensure proper behavior in and around all areas/aspects of the swimming pool. Respond quickly to emergency situations and provide care and treatment as required including but not limited to cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Spinal Injury Management, and crisis intervention, until the arrival of emergency medical services to ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of individuals served, students, and staff.
