Assists with landscape construction by: operating jackhammers and other related equipment to remove broken sidewalks; mixing, pouring, and spreading concrete, asphalt, gravel, and other materials; digs holes and trenches to assist in the repair or replacement of utility lines, irrigation and drainage systems by using hand and power tools; excavates and prepares grounds prior to initiation of construction projects. Operates motor vehicle (i.e. car, box van, pick-up truck, fork lift, front loader, small dump truck…) to transport people, to deliver/receive surplus for inventory control, to deliver, receive, or remove surplus materials for shops and equipment throughout the campus and community and statewide.
