<div> <div> <h2>What You’ll Do</h2> As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a crucial role in launching a new outpatient behavioral health service line at Cass Health. You’ll provide ethical, compassionate, and evidence‑based therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups. In this role, you will: <ul><li> </li><li>Provide high-quality outpatient mental health services including individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions.</li><li> </li><li>Build a positive, trusting therapeutic relationship with patients.</li><li> </li><li>Diagnose and treat mental health disorders using appropriate therapeutic modalities.</li><li> </li><li>Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and circumstances.</li><li> </li><li>Collaborate with internal departments and offer consultation to support crisis care and coordinated patient services.</li><li> </li><li>Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation that meets professional, regulatory, and organizational standards.</li><li> </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the behavioral health service line.</li><li> </li></ul> <hr/> <h2>What We’re Looking For</h2> We’re seeking a compassionate, skilled therapist who is excited to help build a growing behavioral health program. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, dependable, and committed to patient-centered care. <h3>Required Education</h3> <ul><li> </li><li>Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field</li><li> </li></ul> <h3>Required Licenses & Certifications</h3> <ul><li> </li><li>Current Iowa license as LMHC, LISW, or LMFT</li><li> </li><li>Valid driver’s license</li><li> </li><li>BLS certification within six months of hire</li><li> </li></ul> <h3>Required Skills</h3> <ul><li> </li><li>Excellent customer service skills</li><li> </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li> </li></ul> <h3>Preferred</h3> <ul><li> </li><li>Experience using the Epic electronic health record system</li><li> </li></ul> <hr/> <h2>About Cass Health</h2> Cass Health is a thriving, independent rural health system in southwest Iowa.
