Job Responsibilities: Provide short-term trauma therapy (individual and/or group) to adult and child victims of crime, including assessment of client mental health needs, provision of brief case management, and referrals and linkages to appropriate internal resources at the Center for Victim Safety and Support (CVSS) and external community resources. Competencies:Mental health counseling and social work professional training and/or willingness to learn and understand the symptoms and dynamics of trauma, dissociation, revictimization, vicarious trauma, and evidence based best practices in providing trauma informed care.
