What Sets You Apart:

<h2>Forklift Loader – Truck Loader (3rd Shift)</h2><h3>Overview</h3>The Forklift Loader – Truck Loader is responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading trucks carrying roofing panels, coils, and other building materials. This role requires strong forklift operation skills, knowledge of warehouse operations, and a commitment to safety, accuracy, and teamwork. The Forklift Loader ensures proper material handling, accurate order fulfillment, and smooth warehouse flow.Shift: 3rd Shift | Monday–Friday | 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM<h3>Forklift Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Safely operate forklifts to load and unload trucks and trailers</li><li>Load roofing panels, steel coils, and building materials according to load plans</li><li>Scan all orders prior to loading delivery trucks</li><li>Verify load accuracy and match materials to shipping documents and load orders</li><li>Ensure weight distribution and truck mapping to prevent overloading</li><li>Stack, organize, and store materials in designated warehouse locations</li><li>Document material movement to support inventory accuracy</li><li>Identify and report damaged materials to supervisors</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment</li><li>Perform routine housekeeping and safety checks</li><li>Follow all forklift safety procedures and warehouse safety policies</li><li>Conduct pre‑operational forklift inspections and report maintenance issues</li><li>Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times</li><li>Participate in safety training and contribute to a strong safety culture</li><li>Collaborate with warehouse staff, supervisors, and shipping teams</li><li>Assist with bi‑annual physical inventory counts</li><li>Perform other warehouse duties as assigned</li></ul><h3>Forklift Qualifications</h3><ul><li>1–2 years of forklift operation experience in a warehouse or industrial environment</li><li>Strong knowledge of material handling and warehouse operations</li><li>Ability to read and understand load orders, shipping documents, and inventory records</li><li>Experience loading trucks with attention to weight limits and balance</li><li>Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain)</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills</li><li>Ability to work overnight shifts and stand for extended periods</li><li>Physical ability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials</li></ul><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>Competitive hourly pay</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li><li>401(k) with company matching</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Operate terminal equipment to include, but not limited to, cranes, bulldozer, front end loader, fork truck, conveyors.</li><li>Load and unload cargo from ships, railcar and trucks</li><li>Perform daily maintenance checks on assigned equipment</li><li>Participate in company training and safety programs</li><li>Perform general labor duties</li><li>This position requires donning ½ mask respirator, employees must pass a respiratory fit test and screening as a condition of employment.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
Education:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li></ul> Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience operating heavy equipment, including cranes, bulldozers, front end loaders, fork trucks and conveyors</li><li>Must be able to understand and comply with all requirements for any emergency</li><li>Must be able to understand and comply with oral and written instructions, in English</li><li>Must be able to take direction / supervision and work cooperatively with other people</li></ul> Working Conditions:<ul><li>Must be able to routinely climb ladders and work at heights of up to 80' and down ladders up to 50' in the holds of ships</li><li>Must be able to lift / carry up to 50#</li><li>Must be able to sweep, shovel, use hand tools</li><li>Must be able to wear Kinder Morgan supplied Personal Protective Equipment, when applicable</li><li>Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear</li><li>Frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl</li><li>Must be willing and able to work all shifts, including extended hours / days / weekends/ holidays as needed</li><li>Will be subject to working in varying and extreme weather conditions</li><li>Must be willing to join Teamsters Local 377</li><li>Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines</li></ul>
