This role ensures accurate order fulfillment, proper product handling, and timely shipment of goods. The Warehouse Loader works in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards, organization, and productivity goals.Job Duties:·       Pick, pack, and stage outbound orders following company standards for accuracy and quality. ·       Perform inventory activities, including cycle counts, stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO as required). ·       Sort, label, and organize materials to maintain a clean and efficient warehouse layout. ·       Prepare shipments, including, shrink-wrapping, pad wrapping and applying shipping labels or documentation to adequately distinguish product differences. ·       Load and unload trucks safely using approved methods and equipment. ·       Maintain accurate records in warehouse management systems (WMS) or handheld scanners. ·       Keep work areas clean and free of hazards, following 5S and company housekeeping guidelines. ·       Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures, including PPE requirements. ·       Assist with special projects, inventory adjustments, or operational tasks as needed.Required Qualifications:·       Education: High school diploma or equivalent, required.·       Experience: Retail sales, specifically furniture, preferred. Physical and Work Environment Requirements:·       Physical Demands: Standing/walking for extended periods; Able to lift and maneuver furniture up to 150+ lbs. with assistance.·       Work Environment: Distribution Center/Warehouse·       Schedule: Weekdays, Weekends, and Holidays, as required. What you will do::
<div>• Safely unload building products and multiple bundles of shingles from conveyor boom from first or second story rooftop</div><div>• In certain instances where rooftop delivery is not feasible, the roof loader will provide support to the driver by assisting with ground drop operations at the designated job site</div><div>• Verify order contents prior to loading them onto the delivery truck</div><div>• Assist with delivery operations</div><div>• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE</div>
