Description SUMMARY OF POSITION The Manager of Logistics oversees transportation and warehouse distribution and bi-product sales. Analyzes and coordinates the logistical functions of the agency. Responsible for the entire life cycle for agency merchandise and/or product, including distribution, internal allocation, and final disposal of resources. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Donation Stations <ul><li>Responsible for managing the daily operation of assigned donation stations. Ensure appropriate staffing each day. Train and mentor staff in their daily tasks, and to provide excellent customer service. Conduct quarterly training to standardize all donation stations. </li><li>Provide annual performance reviews for assigned staff. Assist with establishing goals and providing necessary resources and support for successful outcomes. </li><li>Aid in the resolution of issues concerning logistics or customer issues. </li><li>Generate donor count reports. </li></ul>Drop Boxes<ul><li>Identify ideal locations for drop boxes. Collaborate with community business partners to place a drop box at their business or organization. Determine schedule of pickups for each drop box and responsibly handle collected items. Ensure each box and associated signage are clean and secure. Repair boxes when needed. </li><li>Develop and maintain Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs). </li></ul>Logistics Management<ul><li>Work closely with the Transportation Manager and Warehouse Manager to ensure proper flow of materials. Adhere to and enforce safety and loss prevention procedures to prevent injury to personnel and damage to property, equipment and inventory. </li><li>Support marketing efforts during donation drives. </li><li>Assist the Purchasing Department with product allocation. </li><li>Contribute to the fulfillment of department and agency objectives and goals. Reliable transportation with the ability to travel within the region as required for meeting participants, workshops, and meetings. Overview:
The Warehouse Solutions Engineering Manager is responsible for leading warehouse engineering strategy, layout design, automation deployment, and technology integration to optimize material flow, storage capacity, productivity, and operational safety. This role also oversees warehouse quality systems and Quality Control & Repack Operations (QCRO) through a direct Quality Engineering function, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, ISO/IATF standards, traceability controls, and zero-defect execution. The position integrates engineering, project management, and quality leadership to deliver scalable warehouse solutions that support business growth and operational excellence. 

Responsibilities:
A DAY IN THE LIFE:  Warehouse Solutions Engineering<ul><li>Lead warehouse layout design, storage optimization, slotting engineering, dock configuration, and flow optimization.</li><li>Design and implement warehouse automation solutions including conveyors, sortation, AGVs/AMRs, AS/RS, shuttle systems, robotic picking, and goods-to-person technology.</li><li>Evaluate warehouse capacity, throughput analysis, time studies, and simulation modeling to support data-driven engineering decisions.</li><li>Develop technical specifications, equipment requirements, and engineering standards for warehouse infrastructure.</li><li>Analyze and optimize material staging, rack configuration, palletization, ergonomics, and material presentation.</li><li>Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety regulations, engineering standards, and building code requirements.</li><li>Support integration of warehouse systems including WMS, WES, LMS, PLC controls, IoT sensors, and Industrial 4.0 solutions.</li><li>Collaborate with IT and SAP teams to align system logic with physical process flows.
