Minimum Qualifications: • Masters degree in business statistics, supply chain management, operations management, operations research, or another related field from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and experience • Proficiency with common office applications, e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint • Ability to utilize online learning management systems, specifically Canvas, for content delivery • Demonstrated experience working in and fostering an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from various backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a staff member at VCU • Availability and commitment to teach at the scheduled meeting times and in the designated instructional modalities for the assigned courses • Ability to work independently and meet instructional deadlines. • Terminal degree, PhD, DBA, etc., in business statistics, supply chain management, operations management, operations research, or another related field • Prior experience in teaching course topics and using modalities relevant to the assigned courses • Experience developing or revising course materials, including cases, projects, or simulations • Familiarity with textbooks and instructional materials commonly used for comparable courses or currently being used by the department • Ability to integrate Artificial Intelligence tools, e.g., Microsoft Copilot, into course materials and assignments • Evidence of teaching effectiveness, e.g., student evaluations, teaching awards, etc.
