Evaluates and treats acute injuries, including injections, subcutaneous local anesthesia, apply and remove splints for severe sprains and fractures, suture superficial wounds, remove sutures and treat/dress wounds. Physician Assistant is a core member of a collaborative care team that may involve the patient?s primary care provider, nursing staff, and other care providers and/or clinical staff.
