In this position, you’ll be an integral part of the team, supporting a variety of tasks, inventory controls, and warehouse and/or shipping areas. What you’ll be doing as a Logistics team member + Perform tasks for the logistics department under close supervision, which include: + Fill, pack, wrap, protect, consolidate, and arrange orders according to instructions + Assist with loading and unloading trucks + Assist with cycle counts + Record entry of finished products for corresponding warehouse + Safely operate various warehouse equipment to assist with moving products + Distribute parts and materials to helicopter technicians and production areas as required + Work with various departments to ensure availability of requested parts and materials + Ensure all work is performed in accordance with regulatory requirements, production standards, and Textron Business Conduct guidelines + May provide reports and status updates to managers and interested parties as required + Other duties as assigned Qualifications Skills You Bring To this Role + Basic competence in Logistics computer systems (ex. MS Office, Visual ERP or Equivalent) + Ability to operate computer, keyboard, mouse, and other software related to job duties + Demonstrated understanding of basic measurements and measuring equipment + Ability to operate a forklift safely + Attention to detail What you need to be successful + High School Diploma or GED + 0-2 years of experience in a logistics role + Additional experience may be a plus and could qualify selective candidate to offer at higher level/pay grade.
