The Broadband Technician will perform installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber optic cables and service drops, installation, maintenance and repair of customer access equipment, as well as splicing and testing fiber optic cables. Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk/hear, see, taste/smell, and carry weight/lift, climb ladders and poles and work from heights.
