Completion of either of the following may also be considered as equivalency): 1) one full semester of RN Adult Health Nursing coursework and its companion clinical placement, OR 2) completion of two full semesters LPN coursework, with related clinical placements OR 3) Four (4) years of on the job training as a hospital aide, nursing aide, or emergency room technician. Assists practitioner by setting up sterile and unsterile fields and assisting with routine, minor surgical procedures as delegated by nursing supervisor, nurse and/or practitioner, in accordance with established guidelines, policies and procedures, and upon completion of clinical competency requirements.
