Dresses patient wounds as delegated by the RN • Assists in vein clinic as assigned after Healogics Vein Clinic training completed • Assists the RN or LPN/LVN during the intake/discharge process: • Collecting, recording and reporting data that includes vitals, Temperature, Pulse and Respiration (TPR), Blood Pressure (BP) and blood sugar readings • Taking wound photography and measurement • Tracking the observed responses to treatment • Recording care given as observed responses to treatment, including participation in wound care/Hyperbaric plan • Reporting unusual observations or changes in patient condition/behaviour • Collecting specimens as requested • Completes unit tasks such as cleaning exam areas, cleaning hyperbaric gurneys and chambers, sterile instrument processing, and other unit tasks as assigned • Performs Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) therapy related duties as needed, upon the completion of the required Healogics Hyperbaric training • Performs other duties as required. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Demonstrated competency in Basic Life Support (BLS) • Demonstrated organization, prioritization and time-management skills • Strong interpersonal, listening, as well as oral and written communication skills • Customer service skills and follow-up skills • Ability to multi-task and to work in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work with others and in a team environment • Problem solving skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
