Job Title: Med Surg Registered Nurse Profession: Level 1 RN Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience required License: Oklahoma or Compact RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - Ability to work with pediatric patients - Good written and verbal communication skills - Ability to meet physical demands including standing, walking, sitting, climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Description: Develop a plan of care for individual patients by interviewing patients and family members, reviewing the patient's health record, and determining the necessary health and physical care required, including discharge planning. Plan, provide, and appropriately document the teaching of patients and families in preventative, curative, and rehabilitative measures, considering patients' and families' learning needs, styles, barriers, and readiness to learn.
