Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license required; minimum of 2 years of experience as a staff Registered Nurse (RN) in a comparable Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU); experience caring for patients from birth through 21 years of age; experience with respiratory diagnoses requiring support ranging from nasal cannula through bilevel positive airway pressure (BiPAP), continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), and mechanical ventilation; chronic childhood diseases; sepsis; traumatic brain injury (TBI); diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA); seizure disorders; oncology diagnoses; metabolic disorders; non-accidental trauma (NAT); and surgical patients, including neurosurgery, ear, nose, and throat (ENT), orthopedics, and general surgery. Equipment experience with Trilogy ventilators, Servo ventilators, Codman intracranial pressure (ICP) monitors, Medfusion syringe pumps, and Baxter large-volume intravenous (IV) pumps.
