Responsibilities: Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols Monitor patients for withdrawal symptoms, mental health status changes, medication side effects and overall medical stability Conduct nursing assessments, intake screenings, vital signs, and ongoing patient observations Support patients experiencing substance use disorders, mental health disorders, and co-occurring condition in a professional manner Accurately document patient care, medication administration, incidents, and clinical observations Collaborate closely with fellow nurses, nursing director, physicians, therapists, case managers, and team members to coordinate patient care and treatment planning Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, relapse prevention, coping strategies, wellness and recovery resources Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and patient safety concerns while following facility procedures. Operating acute care hospitals, behavioral health facilities, outpatient facilities and ambulatory care access points, an insurance offering, a physician network and various related services located all over the U.S. states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the United Kingdom.
