p>Provide general nursing necessary to treatment of youth, Serve as a positive role model for assigned youth, Conduct daily sick call(s), Supervise the administration of all medication, as permitted by license, Supervise all medication procurement and storage, Ensure follow-up instructions from all off-campus treatments are followed as scheduled, Meet with RN daily to obtain pertinent data for continuous medical care and update nurses notes in the medical records, Conduct health education classes for all youth, Assist youth in carrying out activities of daily living, when congruent with the treatment plan and needs, age and developmental level, Maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for youth, Transport youth to medical appointments; document visits in medical records and charts and nurses notes, Attend and maintain appropriate crisis intervention/de-escalation training and certification as defined by state and contract requirements, Attend and maintain CPR and First Aid certification by nationally recognized organization, Attend required training/professional development events and maintain appropriate certification(s) and license(s), Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
