Join Our Dynamic Emergency Room Team as a Registered Nurse!** **Job Description:** - **Shift Details:** - Evening shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM - 13-week contract - **Charting System:** - Must have experience with EPIC - **Weekend Requirements:** - Every other weekend availability - **RTO/Block & Special Scheduling Requests:** - Submit requests upon application - **Call Off Policy:** - Client may cancel up to three shifts without charges during the contract period - **Holiday Requirements:** - Must be available to work every other holiday as needed - **Traveler Details:** - First-time travelers are welcome - Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted for RN positions (Local candidates accepted for LPNs) **Required License/Certifications:** - Active New York Single State RN license (No pending licenses accepted) - Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required **Required Clinical Skills:** - Proficient in IV therapy (including blood product administration and phlebotomy) - Experience with CPAP/BiPAP and ventilator management - Knowledge in CVA, neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, and TBI - Cardiac monitoring and management of dysrhythmias - Emergency care experience (adult/pediatric ED, trauma care) - Competency in isolation precautions and triage **Unit Details and Floating:** - Patient Ratios: 1:5 (Adults, Geriatrics, Emergency diagnoses) - Special Equipment: Bair hugger, rapid infuser, safe patient handling equipment - Floating: Required within skill set - Scrub Color: Any combination of navy blue and white **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
