Experience in working with special populations including individuals with Substance Use/Abuse and/or Addiction, Severe and Persistent Mental Illness, Co-Occurring Disorders, and Dual Diagnosis Disorders preferred. Required to be certified in, and effectively implement, verbal and physical de-escalation techniques that include a wide range of bodily movements; including but not limited to, grasping, holding another person, going down on knees, running, and walking.
LPN is responsible for triaging referrals, completing LPN intake/assessments on all clients admitted during their shift, obtaining urine drug screens, BAL and pregnancy tests on admissions, obtaining admission standing orders, dispensing routine and PLPN medications, taking orders from prescriber and updating MAR, completing electronic and paper charting in a timely manner and participating in treatment team meetings when required. This includes training and covering Crisis Stabilization Unit shifts when deemed appropriate by Crisis Services Nursing Manager and Program Coordinator Assists Mobile Crisis and Walk in Center when necessary to obtain vital signs on clients being referred to a higher level of care.
Will complete initial, comprehensive assessments of clients upon admission, which includes appropriate documentation and integration of assessment findings of vitals, CIWA/COWS, TB Testing, Urine Testing, etc. The Centerpointe LPN JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY Summary of role of team: A Centerpointe LPN is responsible for the assessment and management of withdrawal sign/symptoms of clients presenting to the unit.

Services are provided to include the following: psychiatric services, nursing services, case management services, wrap-around and recovery services, transportation services and personal care services.
