Under the direction of shop management and Engineering, the electrical engineer uses engineering principles and design software, to help design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems and/or components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability. Performs power testing of protective relay panels, medium voltage switchgear line-ups, test communication, and HMI components on the relay panel.
