• Decision making abilities in situations where problems are complex • Read and interpret engineering drawings • Advanced knowledge of GD&T ASME Y14.5-2009 • Set up machinery without assistance including but not limited to, Planning setup • Acquiring all tooling & gages needed before starting set up • Selection of correct tooling needed for job • Building of fixtures if needed • Clamping and positioning of fixtures correctly • Setting tooling offsets • Proofreading programs • Correctly completing 1st part • Deburring and inspecting 1st part • Submitting 1st part for First Article Inspection (FIA) • Making precise and accurate parts in single & production runs • Keeps a clean, organized and safe work area • Maintains company equipment • Makes sure all programs, tooling and fixtures are properly saved when job is complete • Participates and initiates continuous improvement of processes • Abides by all company and safety regulations • Must run multiple machines when required • Make use of idle time in a productive manner.
