Operate CNC Swiss-style lathes independently for safe, efficient, and continuous production, performing complete machine setups, including tooling selection, offsets, program verification, and first-article approval, and making in-process adjustments to tooling, offsets, feeds, and speeds to maintain part quality and dimensional control. Take full ownership of product quality on shift, including inspection, documentation, and adherence to specifications and control plans, maintain accurate production, quality, and downtime records, and escalate quality, safety, or equipment concerns to prevent defects from reaching the next operation.
