RESPONSIBILITIES• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on CNC laser cutting systems, including lubrication, alignments, inspections, and calibration• Inspect, clean, align, and replace laser optics and beam delivery components, including lenses, mirrors, and nozzles• Diagnose and repair electrical issues involving motors, drives, power supplies, PLCs, sensors, and control circuits• Troubleshoot CNC machine controls and automated material handling, including reading ladder logic and resolving I/O issues• Repair mechanical components including bearings, ball screws, linear guides, gearboxes, and pneumatic and hydraulic systems• Provide scheduled, emergency, and unscheduled repairs across production equipment and plant facilities• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and work orders• Perform plumbing and carpentry maintenance and simple machinist work as needed• Follow all safety regulations, including laser safety, lockout/tagout (LOTO), arc flash awareness, and machine guarding requirementsREQUIREMENTS• High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance preferred, or equivalent experience• 3+ years of manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience• Hands-on experience maintaining CNC laser cutting machines (CO2, fiber, or disk).
