This role combines advanced field diagnostics with leadership guiding junior techs, restoring service during outages, and proactively maintaining the HFC plant to prevent issues before they start. What You’ll Do<ul><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of the hybrid fiber-coax (HFC) network, including RF, AC, DC, and optical systems.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Optimize network performance through node balancing, alignment, and signal calibration.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Monitor and mitigate signal leakage; ensure full compliance with FCC and local regulations.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Maintain documentation and perform scheduled maintenance on standby power supplies.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Lead or mentor lower-tier technicians (BT I–III) on field best practices and customer service.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Support outage restoration efforts with clear communications to teams and dispatch.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Maintain and safely operate a company vehicle and equipment.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Record and submit job logs and documentation using mobile devices or work order systems.</li></ul>What You Bring<ul><li style="margin-bottom:11px">BT IV certification or equivalent work experience.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">6+ months as a Broadband Technician III or equivalent field network experience.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Ability to splice coax and fiber optic cable.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Proficiency with signal meters, spectrum analyzers, OTDRs, volt-ohm meters, and leak detectors.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Strong understanding of HFC and IP networks.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Experience reading and interpreting system maps and schematics.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Willingness to work outdoors in all weather, on ladders, in confined spaces, and during on-call rotations.</li></ul>Physical & Work Conditions<ul><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Comfortable working at heights on poles or ladders (up to 32 feet).</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Able to lift up to 70 pounds and carry tools and ladders across various terrain.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Occasional night and weekend work during outages or maintenance windows.</li><li style="margin-bottom:11px">Work in attics, crawl spaces, and near power lines as needed.</li></ul>Pay and Benefits<ul><li>Comprehensive Benefits – Multiple medical, dental, and vision options with 100% preventive care</li><li>Peace of Mind – Company-paid life insurance & disability coverage, with voluntary buy-up options</li><li>401(k) with Company Match – Save for your future with our competitive retirement plan and employer matching contributions</li><li>Wellness Rewards – Earn up to $500/year just for completing checkups & screenings</li><li>Extra Perks – Pet insurance, identity theft protection, legal assistance, and more</li><li>Support Anytime – Free 24/7 telemedicine & virtual counseling for you and your family</li><li>Growth Opportunities – Leadership development, professional sales training & ongoing learning</li></ul>Growth & Opportunity<ul><li style="margin-bottom:11px">We proudly promote from within. The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in keeping Twin Eagle’s Wyoming terminals operations running safely and efficiently. This position is responsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance of heavy equipment, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, mobile conveyor belts, and light-duty vehicles across our Bill, WY and Douglas, WY terminals. The ideal candidate is mechanically skilled, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment. Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform and assist with preventative maintenance of heavy equipment, mobile conveyor belts, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems and light-duty trucks</li><li>Inspect, service, grease and lubricate equipment and automotive components; and change oils and filters on a scheduled basis</li><li>Identify and document equipment defects and performance deficiencies; complete inspection sheets and work orders to track parts usage</li><li>Utilize FIXX MMS system to maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop</li><li>Perform service calls as needed across terminal locations</li><li>Assist with transloading, rail car moving, and other terminal operations as needed</li><li>Any other duties assigned by the Terminal Manager</li></ul> Qualifications<ul><li>Two to three years of hands-on experience with hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems preferred</li><li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED)</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude, with proficiency in basic math and computer systems</li><li>Commitment to upholding Twin Eagle’s safety culture, including participation in safety training programs and safe handling of hazardous materials</li><li>Able to read and follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision</li><li>Able to complete all required paperwork legibly, accurately, and on time</li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively with team members and third-party personnel</li><li>Must have a record of safe and competent driving (personal and commercial) as demonstrated on state Motor Vehicle Records</li><li>Must be available to work weekends, overtime, and holidays.
