Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician 2 is responsible for preforming installs, repairs and maintenance to a variety of equipment including: refrigeration, light kitchen and laundry equipment, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, hermetic compressors, light commercial furnaces, intake and exhaust fans, economizers, capacity controls, semi-hermetic compressors, split systems, and packaged units. • Must have knowledge for repairing hermetic and semi-hermetic compressors, 1-10 ton heat pumps, 1-10 ton split systems, ductless splits, 1 and 3 phase electric motors along with controls ( contactors, starters, relays, disconnects and thermostats), light commercial furnaces and related controls.
