If you thrive on solving electrical and controls challenges and believe safety is non‑negotiable, this is your arena.</p><h3>Is This You?</h3><ul><li>Do you insist on a formal safety inspection of your area every shift—and more often when conditions change?</li><li>Can you quickly isolate faults with portable test gear and internal diagnostics, then return instrumentation to spec?</li><li>Are you comfortable installing PLCs, SCR drives, recorders, and indicating instruments during upgrades and rebuilds?</li><li>Will you keep housekeeping tight to eliminate slip, trip, and fall hazards?</li><li>Are you prepared to operate mobile equipment once you’re MSHA task-trained and cleared?</li></ul><h3>What You’ll Do</h3><ul><li>Inspect, troubleshoot, service, and repair electrical, electronic, and instrumentation assets across the site.</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance and routine checks on controls, recorders, gas analyzers, and automatic weight devices.</li><li>Replace faulty components to restore accuracy, reliability, and process integrity.</li><li>Support new construction and retrofits by installing control hardware and commissioning systems.</li><li>Build and maintain your required tool set within <strong>90 days</strong> of hire (tool list provided).</li><li>Execute work in full compliance with <strong>MSHA</strong>, federal and state regulations, and company policies.</li></ul><h3>Core Capabilities</h3><ul><li><strong>Electrical strength</strong> and troubleshooting mindset.</li><li>Working knowledge of instrumentation—or strong aptitude and willingness to learn.</li><li>Basic computer literacy with the ability to pick up controls programming concepts.</li><li>Reliable attendance; able to self-direct and also follow instructions effectively.</li></ul><h3>Experience That Matters</h3><ul><li><strong>4+ years</strong> as an electrician in mining or heavy industry.</li><li>Use of electrical meters, including <em>megger</em> testing on motors and cables.</li><li>Troubleshooting AC/DC motor starters, <strong>VFDs</strong>, and power distribution.</li><li>Hands-on with <strong>CEM</strong> systems; pressure/flow transmitters; RTDs; thermocouples.</li></ul><h3>Work Schedule</h3><p>Standard weeks with <strong>rotating shifts</strong>.</p><h3>Apply Today</h3><p><a href="https://www.expresspros.com" rel="nofollow">www.expresspros.com</a> or call <strong>307-460-9074</strong></p><h3>Bonus Skills</h3><ul><li>Motor replacement, repair, and maintenance</li><li>Conveyor chain replacement</li><li>Electrical troubleshooting and repair</li><li>Quality control background</li><li>Programming machine vision systems</li></ul><h3>Tools & Tech</h3><ul><li>PLCs</li><li>Conveyor systems</li></ul></div>
