What your day-to-day will look like:* Proficiency with commercial door repairs to include electrified locks, panic hardware, mortise systems, and automatic/manual sliding doors is preferred* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues* Perform general building maintenance including property interior and exterior carpentry, drywall, light electrical, light plumbing and painting* Assist with HVAC systems maintenance and repairs* Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment* Complete assigned work orders in CMMS and maintains appropriate service documentation* Assist the engineering team in the maintenance and repair of building systems and equipment* Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs* Participate in rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergency response* Respond to facility emergencies, system failures, and urgent maintenance issues outside normal business hours* Maintain readiness to address critical building system malfunctionsRequired Qualifications:* U.S. Citizenship* Minimum of 3 years of applicable working experience in general building repairs and maintenance in a commercial, industrial, or manufacturing environment* Experience with preventative maintenance procedures* Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports* Proficiency in basic computer applications and software such as MS Office, Slack, and email* Valid driver's license* High school diploma or GED equivalent* Proficiency in using various hand and power toolsPreferred Qualifications:* Certifications in specific trade areas (e.g., HVAC, electrical)* Experience with building automation systems* Knowledge of energy conservation practices* Trade school education or military service is desirable* Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and building automation systems (BAS)This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
