The patient population in the Neuroscience ICU includes individuals with ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, traumatic brain injuries, subarachnoid hemorrhages, spinal cord injuries, respiratory failure, sepsis, shock, and postoperative conditions. Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the etiologies, risk factors, pathophysiology, and clinical presentation of acute neurological medical emergencies, including acute stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, status epilepticus, intracranial hemorrhage, and spinal cord injury.
