Performs multi-point inspections, changing oil, checking and adding fluids, changing air, fuel and oil filters, changing hoses, replacing spark plugs, rotating tires, mounting and balancing wheels, replacing shocks, replacing light bulbs, replacing windshield wiper blades, checking and replacing serpentine belts, lubricating chassis, checking and servicing brakes, servicing transmissions and differentials, testing and replacing batteries. May be moderately exposed to unpleasant working conditions to include dust, noise, temperature, weather, petroleum products, and chemicals while visiting operating facilities, during which the incumbent should observe all policies and procedures, safety precautions and regulations, and use all protective clothing and devices provided.
