Individual must pass required maintenance testing and demonstrate hands on ability and or knowledge in the following areas: hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, power transmissions, lubrication, pumps, pipe rigging, mechanical maintenance, operation of shop machines, use of work-related tools, combustion, motors, schematics and print reading, basic AC and DC theory. Diagnoses, repairs or replaces faulty electrical and electronic components and circuitry in machines and equipment, that include, but is not limited to relays, switches, transformers, motors, bearings, rewires motors, positions sensing devices and electronic components such as printed circuit boards, etc., and tests components to verify repairs.
