Responsibilities will focus primarily on discrete program requests for industrial engineering support working closely with Strategic Business Unit partners, industrial engineers embedded within the factories, various support organizations, and key suppliers to improve cost, quality, and schedule performance, identify strategic investment opportunities, and improve customer satisfaction. Specific tasks aligned with the industrial engineering discipline include the following: Create factory models using process flows, value stream maps, pareto charts, spaghetti diagrams, and CAD drawings to graphically show manufacturing processes, the movement of material, the exchange of information, and key metrics.
