A typical day involves developing new MES capabilities (e.g., a new process routing workflow or integration endpoint), debugging production issues that affect manufacturing operations, participating in team standups and sprint ceremonies, and collaborating with MES TPMs and manufacturing stakeholders on upcoming feature priorities. The team is responsible for the core MES platform - including work order management, process routing, data collection, traceability, and production reporting - as well as all integrations between MES and shop floor control systems like Ignition, ERP, PLM, and quality management systems.
