Lead and develop the manufacturing engineering team; set priorities, goals, and performance metrics • Drive scrap reduction, cost savings, and productivity improvements using data-driven problem solving • Improve labor efficiency through process optimization, line balancing, and automation initiatives • Support new product launches, pilot builds, and production ramp-ups • Lead engineering change management and maintain compliant documentation • Oversee controls and automation systems (PLCs, HMIs, vision, data collection) • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485; support audits, CAPAs, and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, EHS, and R&D. Bachelor's degree in Engineering required 7-10 years of manufacturing engineering experience; 3-5 years in a leadership role Experience with regulated manufacturing (battery, electronics, medical device, or similar) Strong knowledge of process development, PFMEA, SPC, validation, and industrial automation Proven leadership, project management, and cross-functional communication skills Experience supporting new product launches and high-volume production Prior experience in an ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified facility preferred.
