The Master Electrician provides electrical expertise in the management, maintenance, and delivery of electricity and the installation and repair of all types of electrical equipment for the City of Dallas buildings properties and industrial equipment, including high voltage meters, utilities, traffic signals, airport equipment, and other relevant industrial facilities, in accordance with federal, state, and city codes updated by the latest edition of the National Electrical Code (NEC) adopted by TDLR. Plans, schedules, manages, and assigns duties to crews based on priorities to meet the workload and ensure the work is completed efficiently; monitors scheduling to ensure all work orders and maintenance or repair requests are addressed; participates in personnel management, mediates conflicts, oversees timekeeping, and assesses performance.
