<h3>About the Role:</h3>We’re supporting a leading defense contractor in the search for a Lead Program Scheduler to manage high-visibility, mission-critical scheduling operations. This position plays a key role in developing and maintaining complex Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for Tier 1 programs, providing schedule risk analysis, and supporting major program reviews.<h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Develop, integrate, and manage resource-loaded schedules using MS Project.</li><li>Support program replans (OTB/OTS), internal reprogramming, and Baseline Reviews.</li><li>Conduct critical path analysis, variance tracking, and earned value metrics.</li><li>Lead scheduling support across finance, engineering, manufacturing, and quality functions.</li><li>Mentor junior schedulers and help shape scheduling best practices company-wide.</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal procedures and government guidelines (EIA-748, PASEG, etc.).</li></ul><h3>Requirements:</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of relevant experience (or 13+ years without a degree, or 7+ years with a Master's)</li><li>Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance</li><li>Strong experience in program scheduling and earned value management (EVMS)</li><li>Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint</li><li>Experience working DoD or government-funded programs under FAR/DFAR</li></ul><h3>Preferred Skills:</h3><ul><li>Familiarity with Monte Carlo simulations and schedule risk analysis</li><li>Knowledge of PASEG v4.0, IPMDAR/IPMR, and Project Server</li><li>Background in aerospace, space, or airborne systems programs</li><li>Experience with subcontractor schedule integration</li></ul>This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level scheduler looking to contribute to innovative defense programs with long-term impact.Powered by JazzHR

The planner will work closely with production, engineering, and management to align priorities, anticipate bottlenecks, and keep stakeholders informed of schedule changes and progress.​ .

Role:  The Production Planner will oversee and track the manufacturing build schedule to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards. This hands-on role requires daily coordination with teams across cut and prep, welding, assembly, and testing to maintain smooth workflow and resolve scheduling or material issues as they arise. The planner will work closely with production, engineering, and management to align priorities, anticipate bottlenecks, and keep stakeholders informed of schedule changes and progress.​ Specific responsibilities may include: <ul><li>Monitor and update the master production schedule based on job priorities, progress, and resource availability. </li></ul><ul><li>Work directly on the shop floor to track build status across cut & prep, welding, assembly, and testing departments. </li></ul><ul><li>Identify and address scheduling conflicts or production delays, escalating issues as necessary. </li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with department leaders to forecast workload and balance staffing or material needs. </li></ul><ul><li>Maintain accurate records of work orders, production milestones, and completion dates. </li></ul><ul><li>Communicate schedule changes and progress updates to management and project teams. </li></ul><ul><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on scheduling accuracy and production efficiency. </li></ul><ul><li>Ensure compliance with company safety protocols and manufacturing procedures.​ </li></ul>Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and hands-on production planning experience.</li></ul><ul><li>3 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing coordination, or a related operations role.​ </li></ul><ul><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.​ </li></ul><ul><li>Ability to work on the shop floor and collaborate closely with production personnel.​ </li></ul><ul><li>Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams.​ </li></ul><ul><li>Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey priorities and expectations.​ </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications: <ul><li>5+ years of experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial production environment.​  </li></ul><ul><li>Certification(s) in planning, inventory, and/or production management. </li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with production scheduling tools, ERP/MRP systems, or digital work order management.​ </li></ul><ul><li>Demonstrated experience supporting continuous improvement or lean manufacturing initiatives.​ </li></ul>Salary Range: $60,000 – 85,000 based on experience Job Type: Full-time, In-person.​ Benefit Eligibility:  M2X Energy offers excellent benefits and career opportunities.
