Under general supervision, performs the more difficult plumbing work involved in the maintenance, construction, alteration and repair of water, drainage, heating, gas, other industrial or commercial systems, and related fixtures, fittings and accessories. Work may be performed in an industrial environment that can involve exposure to loud noise from machinery, exposure to airborne particulates and aerosols, oxygen deficient and dangerous atmospheres, wet and slippery surfaces and indoor and outdoor environments.
