Responsibilities: Implement daily lesson plans for students targeting individualized support; Work directly with students to provide routine push-in support in classrooms as well as targeted small group/one-on-one instruction both in the classroom and intervention environments; Provide students with positive feedback and encouragement; Support student understanding of academic concepts and demonstration of fluency skills; Track and maintain records of student progress; Collaborate with classroom teachers to support student needs through small group instruction, communicate goals/achievements, progress, student challenges, and changes in interventions; Foster a positive learning environment that is sensitive to student needs and promotes increased learning performance; Provide the building curriculum specialist and classroom teachers with regular reports of student progress toward learning goals. The Math/Reading Tutor will work across all grade levels (K-6) to support students with direct, targeted intervention/instruction to promote student growth toward grade-level expectations and goal mastery.
