Under the supervision of the Upward Bound Math Science (UBMS) Director, the Curriculum Coordinator will provide tutoring in math and science in the UBMS target schools and teach STEM and sections workshops and classes; help manage the design and implementation of UBMS curriculum and assist the Director in placing students in STEM classes and in coordinating the Summer Academy with lecturers, section instructors, and teaching staff; help plan program events and field trips; help coordinate the academic and enrichment workshops and mentoring and internship opportunities for program participants; and help manage the online learning environment, tutorial resources, and the program website, portal and online communication tools. Meet with students at each target school and online to provide STEM tutoring and advising to students, monitor student progress, and communicate with students, families, teachers, and guidance counselors to support students and overcome obstacles to their success.
