Incumbent performs the full range of assignments, which typically include the performance of visual examination and operational testing in trade work, such as those described in the following areas: PAINTER - Determines the methods, techniques, devices, and materials that are best suited to the surface finish required, for example, glossy finish, grained effect, or a finish that must meet specified thickness and levels. CARPENTER - Repairs, constructs, remodels, and maintains a variety of wooden structures, representative of which are frameworks, rafters, doors, finished paneling, windows, rough furniture, interior and exterior trim; staircases, trusses, and beams, where accuracy, spacing, and fit are essential and structural soundness or appearance are important.
