Position Responsibilities: • Developing new and improved methods of production • Multi-tasking and multi-machine operation • Use hand equipment (e.g hand tools, power tools, air tools and computers) needed to complete/process work assignments • Perform any pickup, rework and incorporation of changes to the product as required • Work from prints, sketches, specification and written/verbal information • Maintain certifications, qualification, licenses or permits as required to perform work • Utilize precision measuring equipment (calipers, scales, etc) to perform self-inspection of in-process and finished work • Perform routine minor machine and Total Preventative maintenance as part of daily work duties (e.g replacing filters, bulbs and maintaining machine lubricant/coolant levels) • Routinely move product within manufacturing the immediate manufacturing work area and on occasion, move product to the next operation within a building • Support the continuous flow of product within the manufacturing process by training and assisting team members of the same or lower classification • Ability to be cross-trained to inspect product and become SIA qualified.
