PRIMARY FUNCTION: Diagnose and determine cause and location of failures and malfunctions and perform the operations necessary to repair, rebuild, replace equipment, components and systems on machine tools, equipment, stationary engines, rolling stock, electromechanical welding machines (tube weld fixtures), tube expanders, robotic plasma shape cutting machines, hydrostatic pressure test systems, high pressure media blast and paint delivery systems, paint abatement systems, mechanized material handling carts, mechanized assembly fixtures, ovens, furnaces, steam clean systems, and other mechanical drive, hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in production where methods, tools and instructions are normally not provided. Maintain and repair lubricating, hydraulic and cooling systems oh machine tools, equipment, stationary engines and rolling stock by checking and replenishing fluid, setting and adjusting for proper flow rates and performance.
