Utility Mechanics routinely work in conditions that may include heat, cold, rain, darkness, dirt, grease, sewage, chemicals, noise, vibrations, water and wastewater, vegetation, insects, and other outdoor hazards. This position performs hands-on work installing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing water and sewer mains, service lines, meters, hydrants, valves, and other utility infrastructure.
