Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
p>Safely operate, repair, rebuild and perform maintenance on Company owned or leased heavy duty diesel trucks and equipment including rolling stock to ensure its ability to operate safely Kick the tires on a new career! Working Conditions: Frequently exposed to loud noise, humidity, hot and cold weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, vibration, toxic and caustic chemicals, fumes and airborne particles.
p>The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered trucks and specialty equipment including jet/vac trucks, combination sewer cleaning trucks, vacuum trucks, street sweepers, and other heavy-duty contractor equipment. - Maintain and repair diesel trucks of varying sizes including jetter trucks, vacuum trucks, combo trucks, street sweepers, roll-offs, dump trucks, tractors/trailers, and service trucks.
Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines including: Routine preventative maintenance, which should include oil changes, brake and tire work, required.
