The position exists to help maintain safe, reliable, functional, and code-conscious campus buildings and infrastructure by performing preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, equipment inspections, and system installations involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and related building systems. The position contributes to Physical Facilities' mission by protecting University assets, supporting campus continuity, promoting safe work practices, and helping ensure that facilities remain operational, accessible, and responsive to the needs of students, faculty, staff, visitors, and the broader campus community.
