Design experience working on structural build-to-print and/or build-to-spec components in utility-scale Wind Turbines (hub, main shaft, bedplate, pillow block, generator frame, towers, etc.) Experience with system design including interface definition, system stiffness, DFMEA, and design for manufacturability / installation / serviceability. The team is responsible for mechanical hardware (main bearing, main shaft, covers, rotor locks, rotor brakes, and couplings) including New Product / Technology Introduction, Validation & Testing, Field Support, and Root Cause Analysis for utility scale wind turbines.
