Knowledge of other programs and eligibility criteria such as the Fugitive Felon Program, Veterans Justice Outreach (VJO), Shipboard Hazard & Defense (SHAD), Camp Lejeune Contaminated Water Exposure, Homeless Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV), Operation Enduring Freedom/Iraqi Freedom/New Dawn (OEF/OIF/OND) and Special Registry Programs such as Agent Orange, Persian Gulf War, Environmental Contaminants, and ionizing Radiation. MSAs at this level develop and/or maintain effective and efficient communication with the patient, interdisciplinary coordinated care delivery model teams, VA medical centers, and other agencies (e.g., assist with communications during the inpatient to outpatient discharge; communicate with non-VA medical facilities; prepare correspondence to notify patients of normal lab results; manage a system for follow-up care such as consults, tests, etc.).
